About Chopta
Called the Mini Switzerland of India, Chopta's rhododendron meadows are the base for the 4 km trek to Tungnath — the world's highest Shiva temple at 3,680m.
The further ascent to Chandrashila summit (4,000m) rewards with a perfect 360° Himalayan panorama including Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi and Trishul peaks.
