Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Delhi → Haridwar (~210 km)
Depart Delhi by road or train and arrive in Haridwar. Check into hotel. In the evening, attend the magnificent Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri — where the sound of bells, the fragrance of incense, and the glow of a thousand floating lamps create an experience unlike anything else in the world. Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 2
Haridwar Temples
After the morning aarti, take the cable car to Mansa Devi Temple atop Bilwa Parvat — the wish-fulfilling goddess. Next, ascend to Chandi Devi Temple on Neel Parvat by ropeway. Visit Maya Devi Temple — one of the Shakti Peethas where Sati's heart is believed to have fallen — and the ancient Daksha Mahadev Temple. Evening at Har Ki Pauri for the aarti once more.
Day 3
Rishikesh Pilgrimage
Drive to Rishikesh. Attend the sunrise aarti at Triveni Ghat — where three rivers meet. Visit Parmarth Niketan ashram, the Geeta Bhavan, and Swarg Ashram. Cross Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Drive 32 km to the majestic Neelkanth Mahadev Temple — where Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form that drank the ocean's poison — set deep in the forest.
Day 4
Rishikesh → Delhi Departure
Peaceful morning walk along the Ganga ghats, optional yoga session, then drive to Delhi for departure.
