A demanding high-pass trek crossing the Bali Pass from the Har Ki Dun region down to Yamunotri, linking two valleys beneath the Swargarohini and Bandarpunch peaks.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Dehradun → Sankri Approx. 200 km
★ Highlights: Drive
Drive to Sankri in the Tons valley.
◗ Overnight Stay: Sankri
Day 2
Sankri → Seema Trek 12 km
★ Highlights: River trail
Drive to Taluka and trek to Seema / Osla.
◗ Overnight Stay: Seema
Day 3
Seema → Ruinsara Tal Trek 11 km
★ Highlights: Alpine lake
Trek to the beautiful Ruinsara Tal.
◗ Overnight Stay: Ruinsara
Day 4
Ruinsara → Bali Base Trek 6 km
★ Highlights: High camp
Trek to the Bali Pass base camp.
◗ Overnight Stay: Bali base
Day 5
Bali Pass Crossing
★ Highlights: Pass, descent
Cross the Bali Pass and descend towards Yamunotri side.
◗ Overnight Stay: Lower Dhamni
Day 6
Descend to Yamunotri
★ Highlights: Temple
Descend to Yamunotri for darshan, then to Janki Chatti.
◗ Overnight Stay: Janki Chatti
Day 7
Janki Chatti → Barkot
★ Highlights: Drive
Drive to Barkot.
◗ Overnight Stay: Barkot
Day 8
Barkot → Dehradun Approx. 180 km
★ Highlights: Departure
Drive back to Dehradun for departure.
